Scoops & Cookies
brand guide
One page that keeps the website, signs, menus, boxes and social posts looking like the same shop. The pink and cocoa are carried over from the current logo, so regulars still recognize it.
Logo
A single scoop on a waffle cone, with the name set in a soft, rounded serif. Use the full logo wherever there's room; use the cone alone where space is tight (social avatars, stickers, the favicon).
Primary, on white or cream.
On dark cocoa.
The cone mark alone.
Do
- Leave space around the logo at least as wide as the cone.
- Keep "scoops" pink and "cookies" cocoa.
- Use the cone alone at small sizes.
Don't
- Stretch, outline or add shadows.
- Put the logo on a busy photo.
- Recolor it outside the palette below.
Colors
Mostly cream and cocoa, with pink as the accent. A little pink goes a long way.
#F389AFThe scoop in the mark, highlights, sale signs. Not for small text.
#C2386EButtons, links and anything people tap. Passes contrast on cream and white.
#915B3DThe cone, the word cookies, secondary buttons.
#3A2216Headlines and body text.
#FFD66BSmall accents only: award dots, a summer sign.
#FFF8F1Page background. Warmer than white, like a waffle cone.
Type
Both are free Google Fonts, so they work on the website, in Canva and in Google Docs.
Cool Mint Cookie
Fraunces, bold, "soft" setting. Headlines, flavor names, signs.
Our mint ice cream with chocolate covered mint cookie balls, Andes mints, and a chocolate cookie fudge swirl.
Figtree, regular and semibold. Everything else.
How we sound
Friendly, plain and a little playful, like the person behind the counter. Short sentences. Real flavor names. Practical help, like where the door is.
"Our door is around back. If you can smell pizza, you're close."
Files
With the finished site you'd get the logo as SVG and PNG (full color, white, and cone-only), plus this guide with the colors and fonts above.
